The Kingdom of Nepal is divided into three regions; Mountain, Hill
and Terai accommodating 7.3, 44.3 and 48.4 percent of the population
respectively. The elevation ranges from 90 to 8848 meters. There
are number of peaks, rivers and Lakes in the country including Mt
Everest (8848m.), the highest peak in the world. About 100 lakes
and more than 1000 of ponds are distributed over the country and
are found in tropical low land to high altitude i.e. in Himalayan
