Phewa Lake Environment Awareness and Capacity Building Project organized a one-day training program on Household Waste Management and Compost Training in ward no. 3- Nadipur of Pokhara Sub-metropolitan City on 1st February 2007 with the support of Annapurna Environment Improvement Committee.

In the training program, segregation of Household waste, its management and the process of making Compost fertilizer was demonstrated to women participants from Gyan Marga Swatantra Aama Samuha, Nari Sewa Kendra, Mahila Milan Aama Samuha. Altogether 37 participants took part in the training
