		Set Activities





Project has formed LEIC in all the wards of the PSMC. Those activities which is categorized by the project are considered as Set activities. A profile of the CBOs working in Phewa Lake conservation will be prepared. Existing groups will be analyzed spatially including their operational status. Groups will be reformed and formed in the areas where they do not exist and where occupational groups are not found organized. Whereas LEIC is supposed to play a main role as a unit and focal point to implement activities of the project, CBOs are expected to function as a community mobilizer and to implement some of the activities under LEIC.
Those Set Activities are-
To sensitize the awareness on the environment conservation for Phewa Lake among stakeholders. To assess, plan, develop and monitor the capacity of local communities and project partners. To facilitate development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of Community Initiatives (CI) activities. To establish environmental monitoring mechanism of Phewa Lake conservation. To establish coordination mechanism and organize meetings.
